Thank you for raising the concern about patients with duplicate phone numbers. However, we believe that this is not a valid concern, as it is possible for two patients to share the same phone number but have different identities, such as in the case of a family where one patient is a parent and the other is a child.
Therefore, we have not implemented a restriction on duplicate phone numbers for patients and instead rely on other patient information, such as their name or IC, to differentiate between them. This approach allows for greater flexibility and better accommodates situations where patients share a phone number but have different identities.

Patients can have duplicate phone numbers.
Individuals should have different phone numbers, especially when everyone now has a mobile phone. There exists an emergency contact as well already, so it makes sense the main phone number should be the individual's.
