How about Tox or Travis? I know, Travis is not a python project, but it quite invaluable for continuos testing under different Python versions.

Travis would be an excellent suggestion!

I wonder how far we should take it... should we recommend GitHub? Is that out of scope?

I'm thinking not.

I'm all for docopt, py.test, tox, travis-ci, pycco not so sure about RTFD, GitHub and crate.io
