Firefox Segmentation fault on Linux

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. run ./scons MODE=dbg-linux
2. link library in ~/.mozilla/plugins/ and /usr/etc/
3. run firefox -d
3. open http://o3d.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/samples/trends/trends.html

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Firefox exit with following message:

support vertex buffer objects.
[0423/151013:INFO:plugin/linux/main_linux.cc(133)] NP_Shutdown
Segmentation fault

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Whatever I synced today using project instructions- head of the tree, trunk.
OS: Ubuntu 8.04
Linux machine 2.6.27-11-generic #1 SMP Wed Apr 1 20:57:48 UTC 2009 i686
GNU/Linux
Python 2.4.5
gcc (Ubuntu 4.3.2-1ubuntu12) 4.3.2
g++-multilib - 4.3.2
libxt-dev 1.0.5

What hardware are you using:  graphics card type?  motherboard type?
Dell Optiplex 755
