Inspired by Chris Smith's project this application does classification differently, logs classifications in a local database and maintains an online repository of activities.
If My Tracks is started from the icon after being started by Avocado as happens when a user wishes to view current My Tracks stats or the currently recording track, the GPS will not turn off automatically when Avocado stops the recording. This flattens the battery fast and is easy not to notice.
Probably a My Tracks bug and nothing can be done in avctivity classifier. Should enter a a My Tracks bug with a link to an Avocado apk so that My Tracks developers can fix
