Company to work remotely #533

Hi Kent,

I've been working as a software engineer for more than 6 years for a Brazilian University and for about 11 months as a project reviewer from the React nanodegree at Udacity. At the moment, I'm responsible for managing the systems development department (a small team of 8 software engineers) at the university. I work as a software engineer at some projects and at some of them, I work as a "lead" (kind of). Some projects (the oldest ones) were built by using Java (JSF, Hibernate, Spring, etc.) and the newest ones were built by using JS (front in React and the backend built with Node, mainly) and I love it! ❤️. However, I'd like to level up my career, so I decided to look for a company to work remotely.

So, after all this introduction... my question is: If you were in this situation, what US company (or companies) would you apply to work using JS, React and Node?

Thank you for your time!

Hi,

+1. I have the same skill set. Let me know if you have some opportunities in US. Will love to contribute.

Regards, Amrit

There's another person asking me the same thing in a DM (you can't see it because it's a DM, I'm linking to it for my own benefit).

I'll do my best to answer this one as soon as I'm able.
