I'm not sure I understand the steps here

copy readme from dom-testing-library

There's not much from dom-testing-library's README that I would want to add...

check against react-testing-library

What would we need to check?

update our own files with the template

This doesn't seem like something we'd need to do within this repo.

I'm going to make a few updates and then merge this.
