Great to see your post on owning your own content. Agree 100%.

For search I used Algolia (it's awesome but kinda pricey if your readers search a lot), however they do have docsearch that is free I think perhaps your tech blog merit for that? The main reason I don't want to dig too much for search is I want to focus on design and content than spending time forever to perfect the infrastructure as a junior developer. :P https://docsearch.algolia.com/

Thanks! I applied for a docsearch and I never heard back. I'm doing a big rewrite if my site soon though so I'll wait until after that.
