This repo is unmaintained at this point, however there is no reason this shouldn't still work unless there have been some big changes to the installation process of PiHole, or to config files etc. Unfortunately I'm not in a position to test this at the moment, but it might be worth trying yourself.
I'd also recommend looking into this docker container that I've used a few times https://github.com/chriscrowe/docker-pihole-unbound - works a treat if you're having problems with this script.
