Added a toggle to render absolute height without domain-based scaling.

We have the change log (commit log) and upgrade guilde that isn't up to date.

Would it make sense to create a whats-new.md so we can at least add manual bullets for the new things we are doing. CHANGELOG looks like it is automatically maintained so it has a value but we probably shouldn't mess with that.
