Can only be made using metallic substances (Thaumic ones too) Can be used on Freight Ships, placed in world, (possibly) placeable in Minecarts. Can hold fluids, items, blocks, and gases.

Storage? Barrel-like or chest-like? If chest-like only 1 type(item/block or fluid/gas) or absolutely anything?

I'm thinking a multi-block structure (minimum 3x3x3, maximum 20x5x5).

Absolutely Anything.

Barrel-like, can you imagine what that gui would be like?

Like the GUI of the deep storage unit?

hmm... i don't know now... How do you think a container would work best in Minecraft.

Well, it could work well if it's a universal barrel/tank, that can store a large amount of one thing, but that thing can be anything, item or fluid. Doesn't need a GUI, just use like you would use a barrel or a tank!
