Combine API/CRD reference page info #2670

Details

The index pages of both CRD and API reference sections have some useful information that should be moved to the parent index page in a way that combines the two pages.

DoD

combine content in parent index page
remove content from child index pages (API reference, CRD reference) and replace with simple oneliner introduction
