Sorry if this is covered by the docs, I hunted and couldn't find it stated clearly anywhere. How is communication between an instance of the machinery and an instance of web accomplished? I don't see any configuration options related to securing this so I'm assuming it all local (file? named pipes?). Based on some of the docker volume configurations I've seen it sounds like this is the case, but I haven't seen it stated explicitly anywhere.
