Hi GrBurst,

As you may have noticed the library isn't in active development hence there aren't actually any plans for the future. However, it is open to pull requests and there is a PR about null-safety created today #17, so the migration may still happen

Pull request is merged, from 0.2.0 onwards the package opts into null-safety. Feel free to open new issues if you encounter any.
