The statement "in the context of the app" is based on an incorrect context. The user allocates a student to a room during check-in (a term defined in the glossary), i.e. only when the student requests for an allocation. In this correct context, both claims are invalid.
Following Prof's clarification on the potential damage this can cause, changing severity to Low

In particular, in the above image, that main purpose of viewing a list of all students could be to see all the students who are not allocated a room in the context of this app, rather than to check if the particulars need to be modified.
Furthermore, there is not a User story that suggests that there is a need to find the students by any fields (such as whether the student is not allocated a room or not). In the context of this app, this seems to be necessary.
