Build with upstream xpdf sources #99

There are some PDF files that xpdf 4.00 can't open but the latest version of xpdf can open without error.

I updated the local xpdf fork to the latest version [^1], doing that a tried to minimize the patches needed to use the upstream xpdf code, in #98 the results of my experiment.

That PR uses a mirror repo I set up on gitlab (no problem to mirror the repo on github too) https://gitlab.com/xpdf-mirror/xpdf

[^1]: have a look at #46 to find a good version without known bugs.

This PR should make it easier to switch between xpdf versions. Do you think there is some interest in merging the PR?
