There is no built-in help, no man page, no wiki here. How do I use this program?

Sorry, but i'm not a native english speaker. I am unable to write complex english text )) I can write russian man page, mainly as compilation from links below, plus some additional help texts (about GStreamer sample player, etc).

As for documentation: there is some unofficial ALSA documentation/wiki/examples (and, of course, alsa-tools source code) about asound.conf syntax, ALSA plugins and their parameters, about their compatibility between each other, about usage of automatic 'plug' plugin as universal adapter between plugins with incompatible formats, etc.

https://alsa.opensrc.org/Asoundrc https://alsa.opensrc.org/Ladspa_(plugin) https://www.alsa-project.org/wiki/Asoundrc https://www.alsa-project.org/alsa-doc/alsa-lib/pcm_plugins.html https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Advanced_Linux_Sound_Architecture

You can use this software as simple GUI for asound.conf config file, installed LADSPA plugins and ALSA mixer.
