Can you try disabling the disable-projectile-randomness
module? It might be calculating things in a bizarre way.
May I also ask what your use case for that module is anyway?
I know the issue is coming from this module. However I really prefer using it, and it is the main reason I am using this plugin. I am running a pvp-focused server, albeit not competitive. My users complained about the fact that projectiles are affected by the player's velocity, making it hard to shoot/throw potions/pearls while running/jumping, and I fully agree with them. The module is removing this aspect so it's very good and I have to use it, even if this weird interaction exists (although I would much prefer to see it disappear).
Please turn on debug
mode in the config and check whether you get a message saying "Making projectile go straight"
when throwing a splash potion. If that is the case, it should be possible to make the plugin ignore splash potions.
It is pretty much essential that the plugin doesn't ignore splash potions tho. Throwing potions when they are being affected by our velocity is super annoying. And the plugin is resolving this issue, except for this weird timing when jumping.
Alright, then:
disable-projectile-randomness
module should be fixed to not affect potionsThis is sort of out of scope as OCM deals with restoring old combat mechanics, so it will have a lower priority compared to other issues.
Nice !
Information
config.yml
Problem Description
Splash potions are thrown at an angle to the right when jumping. The same effect can be reproduced with a low-charge arrow, but not high-charged one. Enderpearls, eggs and snowballs are not affected either, only low velocity projectiles are.
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior: 1. get a splash potion 2. jump 3. right click in the ascending part of the jump (or just spam right-click, and you'll see some deviate) ### Expected Behaviourthe potion is thrown somewhere in front of me
Actual Behaviour
the potion is thrown at an angle to the right (maybe 10 degrees, idk)
