prefactor still py2 #238

KERN 7 requires all packages to be at least python3.

the latest release is py2, but master seems to be py3. that said, it is not really a package but just a bunch of scripts. I think we should just drop this package (for now), since it will take quite some time to convert the repo into a proper python package. Upstream doesn't seem to have an interest in heading into a python package direction.
