Whatsie receives messages but cannot send them #184

I have tried both Snap and Flatpack versions, same issue. I'm using Ubuntu 24.04 fully updated. Official WhatsApp web version works fine. Please fix.

I have the same issue, I cant send messages. please could you tell us how to fix it. Best regards

Mine works on the opposite, unable to receive messages but able to send them. When I take a look at Account menu it says "Syncing paused"

Turn on the sync.

Sync is turned on, still Whatsie does not seem to work. I can't receive messages unless I reload the application, and I can't send messages no matter what.

This is a permanent issue. Sometimes total clearing of ~/.config/org.keshavnrj.ubuntu and ~/.local/share/org.keshavnrj.ubuntu helps, sometimes - not. I hope that porting to Qt6 should solve that.

I have the same problem on Arch Linux/KDE Plasma. So unfortunately the app is unusable! The problem is I think since 4 weeks or so.

Hi, I have using the app dialy, and I haven't had any issue. Versión 4.15.3 from Blogdrake repos.

I use the version from the AUR and I have no idea how to fix it.

Try to clear data from Whatsie

and add another from your phone device without deleting the old one.

Mine just worked like that.

Now, after the update everything works again for me.
