Please, can the Hikvision ISAPI authentication be adjusted for digest format?

How to solve the problem

GET --digest -u "admin:password" cameraip/ISAPI/system/status

Describe alternatives you've considered

To get it to work in the meantime, the security in the camera has to be lowered:

System/Security/Authentication/WEB Authentication -> digest/basic
