Hey, thanks for the report. Could you tell me which operating system you are on, which conex version you are running and if you have any other extension installed, which does something with new tabs (change the 'about:newtab' page or similar).
Hitting ctrl-t
should actually open a new tab in the current container ... I think there is already another issue open with the same problem -- so: this is a bug triggered somehow by some environments.
I am on Archlinux, Firefox 59.0, Conex 0.5.23. I also have Toby installed which modifies the new tabs. I disabled Toby and it fixed the issue above.
Thanks
@psamim thanks for coming back -- that's very useful information
Hi,
I am new to conex so I am not sure if these are the default behavior or bugs.
Right now if I create a new tab by ctrl-t it opens the new tab in the default container. If I want to create a new tab in the current container I have to do ctrl-space to bring up the list of containers, hit tab to select the container, and do ctrl-shift-enter to create a new tab in the selected container.
I wanted to ask for a new feature to make it easier to create a new tab in the current container with a new keyboard shortcut, or even an option for overriding ctrl-t.
Thanks!
