Actual behavior

Link clicked outside FF to a domain assigned to a container: opens TWO tabs in assigned container.

Expected behavior

Link clicked from outside FF to domain assigned to a container opens ONE tab (in assigned container).

Steps to reproduce

  1. Current container: any
  2. Domain B assigned to open in Container Y
  3. Click link to Domain B outside FF (e.g. in email client other than browser)
  4. Result: Domain B link opens in opens in two tabs in Container Y

I seem to have the same issue, but it might be only when both temporary containers and conex are installed together? if I disable either one, it seems to stop opening two tabs...

FYI I'm not using Containerise - I'm using the Firefox Multi-account Containers and Conex add-ons.

gingerlime commented 4 years ago

Same here. Conex, multiaccount containers, but also the temporary containers addon. Not using containerise.

I should also add that I get two tabs even when I open a link from the bookmark toolbar, not only external links

Hmmm - I've only ever had it happen from an external link. The temporary containers addon might be the difference then?
