I tried doing :
scons-out\dbg-win\staging\GoogleUpdate.exe /install
"bundlename=Google%20Chrome%20Bundle&appguid={8A69D345-D564-463C-AFF1-A69D9E530F
96}&appname=Google%20Chrome&needsadmin=True&lang=en"
That brings up a small window and tells me it is downloading and installing
Google Chrome. After a while it says Google Chrome install failed with error
code 0x80040905. In the developer Setup Guide it says "This is due to these
products writing their registration information to the Google Update area of
the registry, instead of your Omaha's location." So my question is, is the
above command line prompt supposed to install Google Chrome and then fail with
the error code, or the fact that the installer got as far as downloading but
not installing Google Chrome prove that Omaha is working?
