There's a way to avoid password requirement?

ivanmendoza, could you please clarify where you get asked for password? AFAIK user profile is disabled at all.

At profile update page ( example.com/start?do=profile ). I'm using a custom theme and DokuWiki in spanish but anyway, it's a core page from DokuWiki to manage personal info like name, username, password and so on.

There's actually an option so that the user doesn't have to confirm their current password. It might be considered insecure though...
