WiFi Wont Turn On

What steps will reproduce the problem?
Trying to turn on wifi

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
It should activate wifi, instead all I see is "error"

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Please provide any additional information below.
The hardware is a atheros wifi card. Everytime i try turn it on, it gives me 
and error. It just says error underneath it. Its an Atheros AR5007EG card. Its 
in a netbook, an acer aspire one ZG5

i am using the viewsonic 10 and had the same issue but it seems to have been 
helped in the nightly release

Disabling wired eth, workd fine 4 me (ZG5 with 2.2 eeepc prebuilt kernel)
