Viewsonic Vpad 10 Waking from standby losing touch input #299

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Leave device to enter power saving mode
2. When waking device black console appears and seems to be trying to start the 
UI 
3. UI flickers on and off until it is finally up at the lock screen
4. Touch input no longer works

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected - Unlock screen, working touch input
Result lock screen after flickering, No touch input

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
ViewPad 10 (20110221-Froyo) USB Image

I get the same error with the current sparta image on a Dell Inspiron Duo.
I Just downloaded a nightly build and will test it this evening.

I have the same problem with my own target for Acer1825 and newest gingerbread.

hid-multitouch is still loaded.

i have Viewpad 10 with this version of Honeycomb too, having the same problem 
of waking up, i discovered by pressing on home and back buttons simultaneously 
is able to wake the tablet up in lock screen, and touch input is not affected.
