If you installed on a Fat32 partition, you will never get root access,
technically you do have root rights to the system. During installation, install
to an Ext2 Partition and it will ask if you want /system set up are read-write,
hit Yes and it will give you full access to the partition. You cannot root a
x86 Android PC as they don't have the bootloader exploits that the rooting
applications use.

I have Viewpad 10 as well, most of apk does not install on 2.2, also set system
setup read/write, but same problem specially with games, do we need different
type of application for x86 ? I also install android 4.0.3 -RC1 again all
applications pre installed worked but no new application i can add / what
should i do ?
