Do we want to support reading FCS files directly? I personally see a few pros and cons along with a few possible ways forward. Here are my thoughts about this:
We already depend on fcsparser. So it's not gonna hurt to add in the support by providing a wrapper.
But, we will need to make sure we well implement the details of the framework and the quirks and features of fcs.
Let's keep this on the back burner and explore the possibilities.
