2) when i try to switch to Live View mode the app freezes and crash.

Any suggestion?? :'(

SOLVED!!!!!! :)

I Unistalled Open CV and reinstalled this:
https://code.google.com/p/dslrdashboard/downloads/detail?name=OpenCV_2.4.6_Manag
er_2.9_armv7a-neon.apk&can=2&q=#makechanges

i set "always run program with unknown sources" (i don't know how it is in
english, but it is in "options") not only during the instalation, but always.

Tried the app and all worked!! :) the live view and everithing.

The app still takes 3 pictures, but maybe if you keep pushed the shutter button
it changes to 1 shoot. I don't know, I'll keep on practicing.

anyway GREAT APP!!! :)

ok, if you click on the exposure meter the option menu appears and you can set
the number of shots! :)

if you turn the camera off and on again the value returns to 3.

Maybe the app auto-updated itself. Try to reinstall it and take away the
auto-update option ;-)

thank you very much! I had a similar problem on a Nexus 7 2013 (on Android 4.4)
with a D800 via the TP-Link MR3040 (v2). It was a bit different though: After
hitting LV, image stayed black but app stayed reactive. App only crashed after
swiching LV OFF. Installing OpenCV 2.4.6. Manager 2.9 solved the issue as it
seems.

How did you manage to connect you Nikon camera .
I own D300, D800 and Df
They all work fine with USB direct connection to Nexus7 / transformer 101
dslrDashboard if fantastic.

BUT i can't get no one of my cameras working with WiFi and TP-Link flashed with
openWrt
DD is saying "server is listening on: 192.168.1.177: 4757"
Then when I hit "connect to OpenWrt/linux" button I only get "No DSLR found"

Sorry for late answer, my fault not seeing there are more issues open.

You don't need to press the 'Connect to server' or 'Start server' buttons.
Those are for sharing a DSLR from DslrDashboard.
You need to pair your Android device wireless with MR3040 and after that hit
the 'Connect to OpenWrt/Linux button'
