Galaxy S3+Nikon D7000 lens zoom does not work #169

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Connecting phone to camera using OTG.
2. DSRL Dashboard started, camera recognised
3. All functions work fine but lens zoom does not work on finger moves nothing
happens or sometimes exposure is taken.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Lens zooms should work. At least add an icon for that.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
0.30.30

Please provide any additional information below.
4.3 Android

Sorry for late answer, my fault not seeing there are more open issues.

Think this is a double post, but again i'm not sure what you mean with this:
Lens zooms should work. At least add an icon for that.

If mounting a a zoom lens you can not change the zoom! (eg Can not get a
more narrow view.) On the net I show videos where you approach two fingers
on the screen and the lens would zoom. This does not work with S3 either
with D7000 or D600.

Not sure where did you see that but in DslrDashboard was no such feature.

There is no command or way to control the DSLR objective zoom ring.
You can only change the live view zoom with the button in upper left corner or
in the camera properties dialog (press the exposure display in bottom center)

O, I see. Is there absolutely no way to zoom, or it is just one of your
futuire projects?

You can zoom the live view as I described in my previous post.

There is no way to operate the objective zoom ring, maybe some future DSLR and
objective will support this.
