openWRT won´t install on TP-Link #69

Getting: Error code: 18005
Upgrade unsuccessfully because the version of the upgraded file was incorrect. 
Please check the file name.
when i try to install TP link Firmware 
openwrt-ar71xx-generic-tl-mr3040-v2-squashfs-factory.bin

Its a TL-MR3040 with V2 (switches on both sides)

Do you have already OpenWrt on the router? If yes then use the sysupgrade image.

Is it MR3040 V1 or V2? Did you try the factory image that I reuploaded?

Did you try to redownload the MR3040 V2 factory image and falsh it?

I have and TP Link system on this router and the image V2 doesn't work :-/    
my english is very bad can you speak German ? :-)

I downloaded the firmware and flash it :-) it's running :-)

Mein deutsch ist nicht so gut, ich verstehe aber ich bin nicht so gut mit 
schreiben. Ja es wird mit Canon 650D arbeiten. Ich auch habe eine 650D und alle 
tests ich mache mit der 650d.

Okay das ist gut also das Programm bzw. die Firmware läuft jetzt ( It#s 
Running) i install the DD SERVER.ipk :-)

You don't need it, the image already contains it. You should see ddserver under 
System->Startup

After a few tries at flashing the MR3040 firmware and not getting DSLR DASH 
BOARD to work I noticed that file needed  name starts with DD not OpenWRT.
Once I got the correct firmware installed DSLR DASHBOARD works beautifully with 
my Nikon d3s.
