AF before capture without effect #95

Hello Zoltan,

AF before taking the picture is disabled (AF button is white).

I can choose in LV the Focus-Field then pressing on AF and the Camera is
focusing (contrast measuring method).
Then, if I take the picture the phase detection AF is focusing too, just before
the shutter release but not to my desired target.
Without LV the same problem, just before every shot the AF is working although
the "AF" Icon is white.

AF is on "single".
"AF after focus point cange" is disabled.

DSLRDashboard is the last version of the Playstore running on my Nexus 7 with
4.2.2 connected via OTG or OpenWRT.
Camera is a D300s and a D50 (without LV).

Greetings
Patrick

The answer is, set the AF Mode to "continuous" ;-)
In continuous Mode there is no previous focusing before shutter.

Ok, I'm learning ;-)

Nikon cameras always do focus before release when connected with USB. DD solves
this by settings AF mode to MF. The problem is that on cameras that have a
dedicated AF mode selector button DD can only change the value if the camera is
in 'host mode'

Thank you for the Enlightenment.
Good that the Workaround with the continuous focus solves my Problem.
