slow start/stop #3

method:
run it on Vista x64 SP1 with QuadCore and 4GB on dual monitor

symptom:
ridiculously long startup & stop times - I found endtask from taskmanager 
the only practical method to end it.

I am having the same problem, running XP MCE 2002 on HP dv4250ca with 2gb RAM

Same problem, running XP Home, 2gb RAM, 92 gigs of harddrive space free. The 
startup 
time was all right, seeing as it connects to the internet, but I had to use 
endtask 
to turn it off, since it took more than two minutes while actively moving my 
mouse.
