To "hide" the tree status bar and other tweaks I found using the highlight command in vim with autocomplete to be a useful way to figure out what to change
This does break colors in my pairing function. I recall getting the background colors right in xtermjs was very difficult and I still don't fully understand the issue. xtermjs doesn't seem to support truecolor properly and the result is a brown fallback color. I think the issue is really with the pairing setup / xtermjs so I'll try looking into that later.
