According to Add-On Compatibility Reporter, HTTPS-Finder doesn't support Firefox Multiprocess (also known as Electrolysis). Mozilla has several resources here to help with implementing multiprocess.

@yfdyh000 it still leaves a hole for those that liked the assistance of creating new https-everywhere rules and it also has the problem that it doesn't seem to rewrite more than the top level and misses out on the various subrequests that happen during page load.
