we also need to amend the README for a saltstack deployment guide, and if installing manually, you also have to install grunt-cli:

npm install -g grunt-cli

Then you need rubygems.

gem install jekyll

Jekyll dependency of redcarpet requires ruby v1.9.2 or greater, so we need to also add that to the salt dependencies
