Update Docker container build files to install git-lfs on our Ubuntu-based containerized VM.

The PR with the fixed issue is under the name "Thermometer text formatting update". I couldn't create a new PR because there was still an old one between my main branch and your main branch. Until that PR is accepted, any new changes on my end will be under this PR.
