I just moved my Home Assistant from docker to VirtualBox. I am not 100% sure how to make sure that VirtualBox sees the Hub. Not sure if anyone here has tested or used it on VirtualBox.

In Virtual box settings for the Hass installation under USB you should see the USB device. I had no problem seeing the dongle. But I was an early adopter of the integration and removed it from my installation. Only due to reliability at that time.

I was able to get this working without issue. In VirtualBox I went to the settings for the virtual machine -> USB -> New USB Filter and selected QinHeng Electronics.

@dc111111 I will take a look. I could not find it no matter what I did. I ended up running the Supervised version in Docker even through it is not 100% supported by Home Assistant

These are the items I see in VirtualBox USB Device Filters; Wyze Sense bridge is QinHeng Electronics. Running on Intel NUC, Linux Mint.

Also, some have been experiencing the issue where about once every 1-2 days, the sensors stop updating. It happened to me but I was able to resolve this issue by enabling USB 3.0 xHCI as the controller instead of USB 2.0
