4 years ago As stated a few times already, I do believe @kevinvincent is no longer actively working on the project. There are 70+ open issue tickets currently. @photinus has had some input on the repo with pr's and such.
I just have email's about this repo, because I have over 20 sensors set-up in my home, and this broken integration cost me quite a bit of money. :) It was working fine for over a year, no updates, no issues, nothing. One update later to "fix issues" It's never been worse. lol.
As far as I'm aware, we all should just be asking Wyze to integrate themselves, with their own native api.
Highly suggest looking into this thread, and upvoting the crud out of it. :)
Hey @kevinvincent - wanted to check, do you have any license terms for this repository? I don’t see any. Recently on Reddit, the discussion came up about moving this to an official HomeAssistant integration. Since the code is open publicly, presumably someone in the community could contribute it, but without a license there could be arguments whether or not the code can be used in a derivative way without infringing on your copyright rights. Can you please let us know what sort of license you are or are not extending for use of code in this repo?
