AllocatableInfoUI does not show attribute name of empty attributes resource types in a person/resource type #414

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Add an attribute of type resource to person/resource type
2. Click right and view of any resource
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
At least attribute name should be shown.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Rapla 1.8Beta

Hi bob,

did not get this bug. Can you provide more Information.

Did you create an additional resource attribute but didnt provide a resource
value.
Why do you expect to show an empty value?

Regards

Chris

Hi Chris,

Indeed I did not give the attribute a value.
A patient in the clinic must have follower which is a reference to person
resource.
Because of not giving a value will not shown anything about the attribute (
not even the name label) and medical people who print the view think that
something is wrong in the model.
It should be like select * from, which gives also null ( or not selected
 in this case).
The purpose is the constant data quality checks done at each level of the
medical processes.
But maybe the optional/not optional type of an attribite may resolve
this.( I have seen this request somewhere on the issue list)

You can add a resource "follower not assigned" to this patient!

No, its more cosmetic that people see what data is missing. It is a matter
of data quality.
If at least the data label would be shown then people can contact the data
administrator for completing it where required.
