mk2, mk3, umk3 do not run #67

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Start Mame4Droid
2. Load any revision of Mortal Kombat 2, Mortal Kombat 3 or Ultimate Mortal 
Kombat 3
3. After typing OK (ie, left then right), Mame4Droid crashes

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Expected Result: Games run
Actual Result: Games do not run and Mame4Droid crashes instead

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Mame4Droid version 1.1.1
Android 2.3.3 (Xperia Play)

Please provide any additional information below.

Mortal Kombat (1) runs, but with glitchy sound. Any version of MK2, MK3 or UMK3 
however crashes Mame4Droid when you try to run them. The Game Compatibility 
List indicates these titles should work.

This games only have experimental drivers on 0.37... That means that they don't 
work till a more modern MaMe will be used which is not planet yet,,,

Hi, Thanks for replying so quickly.

If these games (and any others) do not work in this version of Mame4Droid, 
should they be removed from the compatibility list until a version is released 
that supports them? 

It's not very helpful and uninformative if games are listed as being able to 
run when actually don't (and in fact crash the application).

I have not tested all games deeper so this is not a compability list... It's a 
list that games that have drivers on this MaMe version.... That means that not 
all games works and other have some glitches and not accurated drivers... Not 
my fault, is MaMe version used...

Not saying it's your fault, just suggesting that now that you know those games 
don't work, maybe they could be removed from the list until a version is 
released that supports them.

You've done a great job, I just wish these games worked :)

On a similar subject.. if a game is NOT on that list, but runs on a Mame PC 
version, is there a chance it would work? Or it would not even be recognized as 
a game and won't appear on the game list at all even if I copy the zip file 
there?

I think mk2 mk3 and umk3 have some kind of sound controller problem.

I second that MK 2 and 3 are the best of all time!!.....I love this project 
soooooo much.. I just bought 2 icades for $40 each at bed bath and beyond. If 
there is anyway to get the MK's to run it would be awesome!! Great work guys!

so if MK2 and it's sequels won't ever work because it's an older MAME and if 
those games are on the list because the drivers are in imame4all, why don't 
simply remove those drivers? Wouldn't this be good for RAM or performance or 
something?

I being trying to find a solution to this problem too. I love mk2. But there 
are other games like street fighter 2 champion edition, turbo edition, sf3, 
alpha and more great classic games I would love to get then working on 
mame4all. Including some NeoGeo games lik "The king of fighter 99, 2000,2001 
and couple of other one. I hope seleuco can update mame4all and get support on 
all this games.

By the way thanks Seleuco for your great work on this Emu
