customizable virtual gamepad dpad lag #87

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. customize your virtual gamepad and place DPAd in the middle or on the top of
the screen
2. play the game (for example cadillacs and dinosaurs) and try to tap forward
twice to run - you cant cause DPAD lags now and there is about 1 second of lag
before your character moves
3. When DPAD is on bottom of the screen then it works perfectly.
4.select,start,option and exit buttons are hard to touch, you need to touch
them on very top/right to activate them.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
DPAD should not lag when placed on top of the screen
select, start etc. buttons worked better in previous version.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
version 1.5

Please provide any additional information below.

I mainly use landscape mode and the analog stick, but I can confirm than in
portrait mode I feel the coin button harder to push too in this version. And
(still in portrait mode) even the stick is a bit harder to use: I can move it,
but it's harder to just tap a direction.

Don't know if this is somehow related to the configuration I've chosen in
landscape mode.

yes its fixed and looks like only "problem" left now is this old romset but
adding new drivers to old source would be harder than using newer 0.72 version
like for xbox360 ? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JUbmBsGlxhU&feature=related
I tried to conact person who did midway drivers for mortal kombat but didnt get
response, wanted to ask him about fixing mk2,3,umk3 drivers.
My phone is 1ghz galaxy s abd mame4all works good on psp so im sure new mame
version would run ok on 1ghz phone but looks like theres no such mame emu for
higher end phones, too bad cause you can use pads and tv out on mine.
