Keybase does not start up properly #12552

installed with brew. when started, the app hangs at "Loading . . ."

I haven't tried the brew build in ages, but it seems a problem with the brew formula. Can you ask the maintainer for support?

Hmmm . . . I get the same when I install "manually". Running "keybase status" I get: matz@bunnybear -> keybase status

We found a Keybase service (keybase.service) but it's not running. You might try starting it: keybase launchd start keybase.service

▶ ERROR There were multiple errors: dial unix /Users/matz/Library/Group Containers/keybase/Library/Caches/Keybase/keybased.sock: connect: no such file or directory; dial unix /Users/matz/Library/Caches/Keybase/keybased.sock: connect: no such file or directory
