Enhancement: Ability to upload multiple media files #13451

It would be a good idea to allow users to upload (attach) multiple media files (photos and other support media files, if any) in one go.

Currently, one can upload only one file at a time. At least, this is the case on Android and Mac OS clients.

I often paste images from my clipboard into chat and as far as I'm aware, I am unable to paste more than one image at once. Or at least i'm unable to add to a batch of images by pasting a new image on top, and must send each separately. This may require a UI change though as the preview message changes the cursor context to the 'Add a caption...' message box.

This is on the windows client.

+1 to support copy pasting media files.

On macOS, I find myself, instead, saving images to the local filesystem then dragging them to keybase chat client.

For iOS, I'm able to go to photo library -> select multiple photos -> share -> keybase to send multiple images. It would be nice to be able to select multiple photos from the photo library directly from keybase. Currently, it seems to only support selecting one photo at a time.

Very good idea!

I do use Telegram often, and I see that Keybase client lacks the ability to upload multiple photos/videos at one moment. Especially, because I do like to make photo galleries in one moment to show them to friends. Via Telegram I do that easily, for Keybase it's a pain because of one photo for one moment. Also would be a good feature to organize groups of photos into "album" for the compact look of them. Especially on Android where I am. Also, I use Keybase on Linux.
