No iPad App #8909

The iOS app is for iPhone only, so it is not searchable by default in the App Store on an iPad. If you find and install it, it gives a huge unusable screen on the iPad.

(iPad Air 2, iOS 11, if it matters)

Having the iPhone App work in Landscape mode could be an improvement to the iPad experience as well.

What is needed to make this happen? Depending on the amount of effort needed, I might give it a go.

@bergquester - The iOS app is in react-native. I’m an iOS developer and took a try thinking it might be trivial, but if you’re similar there is a learning curve for react native.

More of a fan of refactoring the existing react native code to support iPad.

Or if you're using a keyboard, a little window that's on its side.

I support anything that would let me use the app on my iPad in horizontal mode as well. So I did build with this change and it works well enough to make me happy. It's not perfect, but totally a better experience on the iPad than before.

@chanomie Did you fork the repository? I would love to build my own version for iPad that supports full size and rotation even if has a few issues.
