@aalness: any idea why they'd be getting a "revoked data" error on a pre-reset folder? (The log shows it's coming from the "before account reset" folder.) I thought we avoiding throwing the error in that case...
Yo, what's going on with this? It's kind of annoying me.
Thanks for the reminder. We have holiday staff outages right now, but I set a reminder to look into this later next week.

Okay, so this has been open a few months now. I'm slightly concerned, at this point, that I would ever need Keybase's staff to modify data inside of what I assumed to be a secure folder. What's up?
Sorry, we continued to have staff shortages and are generally super busy. Rest assured we can't modify any data in a secure folder (or a public one, for that matter). All we can do is reset it for you if it's borked beyond saving. I'll try to get this moved up in priority.
Very sorry about the delay, but for what it's worth I think I just made a fix for this (keybase/kbfs#1022). It will be available in the next release.
Hey, my Keybase app is throwing this error like crazy. I saw #2333 and am posting the consent here to reset these folders. I also sent a log and the ID for that is

.I think the culprit is this straggling folder:
