Need automated way to reset kbfs #2866

There needs to be a way of resetting a KBFS directory which doesn't involve asking someone here for help. Ideally, the resetting of KBFS should be automated via our credentials such as PGP key when we no longer have access to any devices or have already revoked them, similarly to how we can reset the entire account.

My personal situation is that I revoked all my previous devices because I overwrote their OS with clean installations. It did not occur to me that I wouldn't be able to access some of Keybase functionality when other functions are still usable via my PGP key.

Resetting your Keybase account is currently the only automated resetting option we have. Would be nice to have more, but it's probably pretty far down on our priority list.

I've reset your folders.

You shouldn't ever need to reset is the other way to look at it. If you have a paper key, just restore with your paper key?

I need a reset because I lost my paper key and had to reinstall windows last month. What do I need to do?

@UberActivist Go to https://keybase.io click "Login" then "Recover account" and it should give you instructions. Let me know if you have any trouble.

Just to be clear, I need to reset keybase filesystem (like the OP) not my entire account.

@UberActivist: If you want us to reset your folder, please run this command on an currently-valid keybase device, and substitute the current date and time where indicated:

keybase sign -m "<DATE_AND_TIME>: Please reset folder /keybase/private/uberactivist because all the devices that have access have been revoked."

and post the results here.

Thanks @UberActivist. I reset your private TLF. Can you please check it out and close this if things seems to be working now? (Might require a Keybase restart.)

I've just set up Keybase on a new PC after my previous one was wiped and logged in using my GPG key but it seems like I revoked my paper key some time ago (not sure why) and am now unable to rekey my KBFS directories. Would it be possible to reset them for me please?
