can you send feedback from inside the app? That'll provide logs. Thanks for this well-written report. We haven't seen another like it, nor have we seen this behavior ourselves.

While in the iOS client I noticed another data point which is the same people that show up blue on the desktop client still show up green on the iOS client

Hello, Yesterday late afternoon/early evening (pacific time zone), I started having issues using Keybase on my iOS device. It was crashing repeatedly. It eventually stopped and I asked some others who said they also experienced this. I couldn't find a Keybase server status page to see if maybe there was a (known) issue that might explain this.
Today, my desktop client on macOS "lost it's mind" while I was using it. In the attached screenshot (which is sanitized with black bars covering team icons & names/channels) the blue highlighted line (which was present in the app) with no channel name was really a channel under the bottom team that begins with the letter "e" so it is normally displayed above the #general channel for that team. I had typed something in that channel when it started showing me a spinning icon where my posted text should have appeared in the channel. I assumed it was just waiting for confirmation back from the keybase servers, but then I realized weirdness in the left-hand pane and after poking around in other chats I went ahead and quit the keybase app and restarted it at which point that issue seemed to go away and the message I had been waiting on showed up properly in the team channel in question.
A while later, I noticed the usernames of people I am already following were being displayed in blue text instead green text. This appears to be the case for all users until I click on them to open their profile at which point I see them change from blue -> green.
