Hello, I connect my Keybase account (android) to a GitHub, but receive bad message for airdrop. Sorry, you are not qualified to join. reason: 3 active devices or paper keys (you can add more to get to 3) help, please. Thanks.
I resolve this.... Create 3 paper keys
i'm having the same issue, i've just found about the airdrop and had setup everything, the only thing that is missing is a "old enough" Github account
how can we fix so we can participate?
You don't. The only way to ensure that you are real users who didn't create GitHub or hackernews accounts for the sole purpose of receiving the drop is to disallow any accounts made after the announcement.

Ever heard of KYC?
And Keybase isn't a bank and doesn't have the infrastructure to handle verifying government issued identification.
That maybe so but they are effectively employing members to market. Bussinesses need at least a small budget for marketing.
Memberships are the best form for advertising growth through social networks.
It's a question of Keybase's marketing strategy. Maybe I am wrong but I see they have been very clever in accumulating the numbers but targeting potential developer membership through Github. Qualifying membership identity through Github does not come into it.
I think the airdrop is very generous but are taking precautions that could have been handled differently to level the playing field.
Maybe all is not lost. See the highlighted text.
Everyone who is eligible. Eligible is defined as having a Keybase account older than 9/9, or a Github or Hackernews account older than 9/9. There's no other way at scale to avoid massive amounts of botting. (sorry your Github account was made on 9/10 i guess)
Guess thats the way the cookie crumbles. Maybe something will come along later in the form of membership airdrops/rewards and to verify folks authenticity in order to discriminate the bots. No big deal.
Thanks for the interaction.
Oh... by the way.... I am not a bot. ;-)
I've got a connected Github account from 2018, but now it seems it isn't valid anymore???
@rmolinos per the update on https://keybase.io/airdrop
UPDATE #2 September 16: HackerNews and GitHub were both under attack by bad actors who hoped to game this by stealing other users' accounts. In cooperation with both of those sites, we've halted Space Drop registration for anyone who wasn't a Keybase user before Sept. 9. SDF and Keybase will discuss, while whining and moaning, how this giveaway can continue. (COME ON PEOPLE OF THE INTERNET, STOP SUCKING SO MUCH!)
I'm a Canadian citizen and I cannot participate to the airdrop LUMEN FOR EVERONE. Please find a way to include us in this adventure.
We are your friends keybase and we like XLM!!
In my case all requirement are ticked but I get en error.
Does anybody can explain me the issue? Thanks
@alexandrestein i have same issue.
Hello,
I saw your post about the XLM airdrop from your twitter account that posted yesterday. I immediately signed up but now its saying that I am not eligible? I am assuming because I signed up on the 9th but that was when you guys posted about the lumens drop drop via social media, how can I fix this so that I am eligible for the airdrop????
