Intermittent api issues #4232

Using the latest docker image, the git clone command occasionally fails with the following error:

git-remote-keybase error: (1) API network error: Get "https://api-0.core.keybaseapi.com/_/api/1.0/merkle/path.json?c=1&leaf_id=redacted&no_root_sigs=1&poll=10&start_seqno=redacted&tail=redacted": EOF (error 1601)

The lack of activity on this issue tracker has me slightly concerned.

I hope keybase isn't dying..? I also wonder why there's a keybase-issues repo when issues also seem to be tracked on the client's repo, which at least has commit activity (haven't dug into issues to see if maintainers are handling them there though) - perhaps that's the better place to post bugs - though ofc I get that your bug isn't specifically related to the client
